Raw vs. Adjusted Rating Backtest

A real, out-of-sample check: for every race, blending each horse's last up-to-3 prior starts the exact same way Predicted Contenders and Selection Entry do live (weighted 3/2/1 toward the most recent) -- once using raw vs-par, once using the track-corrected version -- which one better predicted how that horse actually finished?
