Pace Projection Backtest

Does a horse's running style, and how many other early-speed horses are in the race, predict results beyond what the odds already say? Each horse's style comes from where it ran at the first call in its last up-to-3 earlier starts (stored in horseRatings). A race is then classed by how many early-speed horses it has. Results are compared with what the final odds predicted, using real $2 win payouts.
